According to the latest official data, a total of 24,205 individuals acquired Lithuanian citizenship in 2024 through various legal pathways. The vast majority — over 20,000 people — received it by birth, while others became Lithuanian citizens through reinstatement, naturalization, adoption, or other legal procedures.
